Hola! After getting a little more comfortable with web development, I’m now stirring the water of data analytics. I picked up Python (and seriously, after two days I’m still so lost), and I’m using Dash Plotly to create dashboards application to visualize the datasets.
What’s I’m most proud: I can finally use callback to add interactivity to my chart! I let user choose if they want to see chart by major (computer engineering) or major category (engineering), and choose the specific major/major category to see that chart with number of men and women taking this major. I struggled with this for the past 2 days, but now, with the help of the documentation and Charming Data, I am gaining more confidence.
One thing to always have in mind: BREAK IT INTO CHUNKS and solve the pieces. Always make sure the code runs first before adding more lines of code.
