Since I’m no longer in school, most people I see every day are my seniors. The most said pronouns in my daily conversations are ‘anh’ and ‘chị’, which means older brothers and sisters, and I call myself, ‘em.’
I think it’s a privilege. To be young and to give my seniors respect. And to be loved by them. For now, it might not matter what I do but who I am with, and these people with experience are who I want to learn from.
I hope I’ll be a nice and loving big sister when I grow older. When 9X has loads of experience on their CV and 2K are filling the workforce. I will pay it forward: welcoming the youngsters and supporting them and remember that I was once them. That I shouldn’t be arrogant. I shouldn’t be ignorant. But caring and continuing to pay it forward.
Wait for me, 2K who are young and hungry. ❤️❤️❤️
